New to the community? This channel provides a comprehensive guide on how to get started, navigate, and engage with our Slack workspace. Perfect for newcomers looking to explore!
Our #02-request-help channel is one of our most valuable spaces for collaboration and support. If you need help with anything, don’t hesitate to ask! However, there are a few notes and limits to consider:
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we don’t allow donation asks anywhere on our Slack.
Try to keep the initial message as short as necessary. Feel free to provide further context in the threads.
Only include at most one link preview (thumbnail), since the message could become very long otherwise, reducing the chance that others will engage.
We love seeing community members proactively offering their help! This includes community member-led fellowships/programs/courses as well as general offers of support in your various skills. The only thing to consider is that by default, we assume that any help offers are volunteered. Please explicitly indicate in your offer if you expect/require to be paid for your/their service in your message.
A channel for sharing resources and tools that could be useful for the work of other advocates (including the resources you or your organisation provides). To ask for help finding a resource, please use #02-request-help channel.
For courses, fellowships and other programs that are human-led, please use #03-offer-help.
